Jaunt began as an idea I could only imagine. I wrote it without hearing it at first, trusting chord progressions I knew I loved, a simple melody that felt right, and patterns and textures that always resonated with me. When I finally played it through, I carefully refined and shaped each note until it felt complete — a small journey of sound that now feels perfectly realized.
